From his picture, you can see why his foster mom named him Radar - and he is just as cute as can be!! From the back he has two brown spots on his ears which remind her of butterfly's wings when extended. He is slender and long-legged, hence our guess at his breed. Radar was found as a stray and came from the Valencia County Shelter. He is estimated to be 6-9 months old and is a happy and social little fellow, though like all puppies, mischievous and into everything! He is super smart and takes direction well and will benefit from puppy training as soon as it is available. He loves to play with other dogs and should be placed in a home with at least one other dog that is playful to keep his energy under control and teach him the ropes. Real young children are not recommended (under 6). We expect he will get a little bigger and, at under 12 pounds currently, will be a good size when full grown - not too big, not too small. Who knows, he may grow into those ears!
Radar is up-to-date on all shots, neutered, and microchipped. Once he has healed from his neuter surgery on 12/1, he will be ready for his Furrever Home by Christmas. We can just see this little guy tearing into wrapping paper under the tree! What fun!
