Benny is happy to be alive! Benny was turned into a shelter on Jan. 7th by his previous owner who requested that he be euthanized. The owner claimed that Benny was having seizures. The shelter decided not to euthanize him but to observe him. We are happy to report that neither the shelter nor his current foster parents have seen any seizures! We believe, at this point, that this was a case of "misinformation" on the part of the previous owner. Unfortunately, that happens often when people turn their animals into the shelter.
Benny dashes about like a young man half his age. There is even a hint of puppy in his face. He currently lives with another small dog and a cat and considers them his pals.
After a little bit of pacing and checking out his foster home, he warmed right up to his foster parents. He loves hanging out with them and then loves a good nap, as you can see in the photos below.
Benny would do best in a home with children over 10 years of age. He has had all of his shots and is neutered. He is ready to go to his new home.
