This precious girl was found as a stray in Los Lunas. How she survived the streets for even 5 minutes is a mystery. She was brought into the Valencia County Shelter where she was set aside as a "Rescue Group Only" dog. She was so shaken by her time on the streets that she needed to go to a foster home first to decompress and adapt to a better life before going into her forever home.
Well, this little girl has blossomed! Take a look at the "before" and "after" pictures of this sweet girl.
Bitsy would love to be in a home where she can snuggle up with her person. She can live in a home with another dog but would need a mom and/or dad that will let her know that she must share them. She can be a little possessive of them. She should not be in a home with children under 14 for this reason.
She also enjoys curling up on the back of a couch, as you can see below.
Bitsy has come a long way in a short amount of time. She is ready for her forever home.
