Gwennie is a sweet pug/chi mix with personality and lots of energy. She is around 9 years old, but you'd never know it as she is full of life and energy. Gwennie is very social, loves to play, and gets along well with her foster sister, brother, and the resident cat. She knows how to use the doggie door and walks nicely on a leash.
Gwennie adores her foster mom and is excited to see her when she's been gone for any period of time. She gets the zoomies and jumps up almost to foster mom's waist. Gwennie loves attention and will paw her person for petting. For some reason, Gwennie avoids her foster dad (it may be his facial hair!), although she will take food from him. She is very food motivated which should make training easy. Gwennie has figured out how to climb out of her pen, so a crate is recommended to confine her when necessary. Recently, Gweenie went for an all day play date at another foster home where she happily met the resident dogs and fell in love with the husband who gave her bits of steak, after which she just wanted to sit in his lap.
Gwennie is spayed, has all her shots, heartworm tested (negative), microchipped, had her teeth cleaned, and has no known health issues. She is just waiting for her furever home and someone to love. Gwennie would do well with a doggie companion or as an only dog in a home where she gets plenty of attention.
