They named me Chaplin because my mustachioed markings reminded people of Charlie Chaplin. (My foster mom says it is common where she comes from for girls to be given last names for first names.) I have a two-legged foster mom because my feline mom didn't make it back from one of her hunts. My brother T.K. (The Kid) and I were cold and hungry and we cried and cried, and finally some nice people found us and brought us to NMAF where we found warmth and food! We learned how to eat from a bowl, always use a litter box, and sharpen our claws on scratching posts.
I am a confident kitten, but not as bold as my brother. I prefer to play with him or with people rather than trying to convince the three adult cats in the house to play with me...
One day my brother and I met two dogs at once! I didn't run away but observed them from the top of the sofa. Imagine my surprise when one of them jumped right up on the sofa! I know he saw me, but he didn't follow me to the top. Whew.
*It looks like my coat will be a short to medium hair with a nice, fluffy tail. I often sit up on my hind legs when I am playing or interested in something above me. I do need a playmate. My brother, T.K., would be ideal.
