On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, lovely Princess Leia found herself in dire straits. She had been kidnapped from a homeless community and taken to the nearest Circle K to be sold to the first bidder, for the paltry sum of $5. A hero and friend of cats quickly paid the derisory fee for this maiden in distress, and took her to her new foster home with New Mexico Animal Friends. After a hair-raising hunt through the streets of Albuquerque, Leia's new foster mom miraculously located Leia's four tiny missing kittens, and they were purringly reunited in a happy ending worthy of the best of movies!
In keeping with her royal lineage, Princess Leia displays fine social graces. Her personality is sweet and she is affectionate. She uses the litter box like a queen. She is still a youngster and she has a playful side, despite the seriousness with which she has cared for her kittens. She's been a wonderful mother to her little angels Ariel, Gabrielle, Michael and Raphael, but now she's ready to be a kitten again! You will soon be able to visit her adorable kittens, too.
