Samantha was found as a stray and spent a few months in the shelter waiting and waiting for someone to fall in love with her. And WE did! This sweet girl was overlooked time and again, but NMAF rescued her knowing what a wonderful dog she is!

Samantha is the perfect size. Like Goldilocks, she's not too big and not too small. She is a 3-4 year old, female black labrador/heeler mix who loves to take walks, hang out on the couch, give kisses and is eager to please. She is a little anxious but just really wants to be loved and be near her people. She's a super snuggle bug. She would love nothing more than to hang out on your lap. Samantha is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She is still learning basic skills and manners. She is highly food motivated but sometimes stubborn and has a way to go when meeting other dogs. Not sure if she gets along with cats or children - quick movements tend to scare her.

Sam is looking for her perfect family who are patient, consistent, and willing to work with her training to round out her personality. Your loving forever home will enable her to blossom!
