Born in the back seat of a car at a local auto repair shop, Spanky and his three siblings made their first appearance at the age of six weeks, crying out from hunger - their poor mommy had been hit by a car. A kind customer of the repair shop took them in and fostered them through NMAF.

Spanky was always the bold one, the leader of the pack! He loves adventure and is also sweet, affectionate, and intelligent. Full of fun, he will play with his kitty friends until he drops (or they give him the boot). If no one is available, he will play by himself, for hours on end. He loves the Star Chaser and fly toys. We think he might like to have a doggy friend, although so far he's just had kitty companions.

Spanky uses his litter box and scratching post faithfully and is comfortable around other cats. He loves human affection and will snuggle into your hand as you pet him. Spanky is a true joy!
