They don’t come any sweeter than Buttons. This female TerrierX is toy-sized at 6.5 lbs, 2-3yrs yrs old, friendly with other dogs, cats, and is not shy about accepting attention from anyone. Buttons has not been around children at her foster home yet, but her temperament will most likely be a good fit. Due to a life changing event, Buttons and her friend, Taz, were surrendered to NMAF 11/22/09.
Buttons can be timid and submissive but loves to be in the mix and enjoys being held. She is kennel trained and is starting her obedience training with enthusiasm. Buttons is house trained and is learning to accept a harness and leash. She is unsure of the concept of walking and prefers to be held when you are at the dog park or open space, but she will learn to love walking with her companions. Buttons was brought to NMAF with a friend Taz and they are currently being fostered together, so if your home is ready for a twosome, this is a great pair.
