Hello, I'm Pookie, and I'm a male black & white shorthair, two years old. I was rescued when I was just a few months old and was in need of some vet care, but now I'm all healthy! I am a very sweet little guy. Although I am full-grown, I am very petite and kittenish. I love to play with you or with other cats. I have perfect litterbox habits. I'd love to sleep in your bed with you at night, and follow you sometimes during the day to see if I can sit on your lap or just be near you. I have a sweet kittenish meow. I would prefer a quiet home, no dogs or very young children, but I definitely enjoy the company of other cats. My adopter may need to be a bit patient with me as it might take me a while to warm up to new surroundings. I'm terribly shy at adoption clinics, so please visit me at my foster home to get a better idea of my personality. I'm neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. Please consider adopting me!
